The 3 Obligations
In every hiring situation there are 3 prerequisites.
The type hiring situation does not matter. The potential job could be any of the following:
• Internal-within your current employer or organization;
• Recruited- a potential position being offered by a recruiter, either company or external;
• Existing/Posted-a job that has surfaced via networking, web postings, an internal connection or
• Hidden Position-a job that you are seeking using the TFB methodology.
• Expand your Role in Existing Company/Promotions
They all exhibit three basic concepts. These concepts are: 3 H’s
The 3 Obligations
1. Humanization .....move from the Herd to be Heard
You are seen as “human” as opposed to being just another piece of paper in a stack of resumes. Your materials must demonstrate “who” you are not just your title, rank , time on the job or responsibilities.
• Attractiveness (Compelling Story)
• Attributes (Professional & Personal)
• Accomplishments (Quantifiable)
2. Hunger....still have built in desire to succeed
You must communicate that you are
• Creative,
• Engaged,
• Growing professionally, still have “Have fire in the belly,”
• Success oriented
3. Hirablility..."after Hire contributions"
• Demonstrate what you will be like “after hire,”
• Minimize the Hiring Authority’s risk of hire,
• Be seen as an Opportunity not a risk
Demonstrating those concepts or obligations requires a burst of creativity that only the Tri-Fold Marketing Brochure process can deliver!
