Alternative Format

The below can be used as part of the Alternative information presentation. *****It should be arranged as the internal page in a portrait format.

See Explanation on the third.   See: Instructions for additional use

4th: The Evaluation

This format allows the candidate to provide excerpted information from prior reviews, evaluations, re......letters and supervisor’s written recommendations. It allows the candidate to demonstrate in one vehicle their work history evaluation information as well as incorporating their personal contact information into one easy to use personal marketing product in a controlled presentation.

This format has a similar three-fold impact to the others. First, as with the others, it is a marketing vehicle about you as a candidate, with all of the “selling” and contact information that the other brochures have. Second, it is a convenient demonstration tool that can and will illustrate your prior accomplishments that have been celebrated by your prior managers, co-workers and clients. Thirdly, it allows the “correct” HA contact to instantly “feel” and embrace your professional ability, creative zeal, dedication to your job, determination and diligence.

This allows any HA to quickly assess your past performances and to interpolate your future successes. Although past performance is not a definite indicator of future success, your demonstrated prior success is a fairly good indicator of the future’s potential. It is really the ACP in its ultimate form. This brochure will focus on your talent, creativity, and work ethic. As in all the brochures, the EvalB allows you in one act to PRESENT to the HA, who, what, and how you will attack their job based on the successes and experiences of the past.

As with the others, this one is part of the PMSP© concept, with its emphasis on personal “controlled” marketing.

The (CB) (see PMSP© text) is your launching point to discover the real you. The 36 questions allow you to chronicle who, what, and the “why” you have become. It illustrates biases and demonstrates your ability to answer questions about your career; the importance of others, your values and your predilection to “the glass is always half full” philosophy and your ability to always place a positive spin on your career products and your career choices. As we say often in our seminars, having had a career in sales “I have been canned so often I feel like a can of Green Giant peas.” I do know what it feels like to be in transition. This tool can help you prepare for that “audition” as you begin the preparation for the Transition period.

5th: Information Study

The fifth in our series of PMSP© marketing products is the Information Study. This format offers the candidate a very unique opportunity. It might well be the best closing tool available for a prospective candidate as it allows the candidate to provide immediate tangible proof of their research, study and vision of “their” contribution and their professional relationship with the potential employer.

The IS illustrates the analytical and presentational proficiency of the candidate. It allows for a demonstration vehicle of the research that the prospective employee has done about the company, employees, market, competition, possible clients and geographical assignments of the prospective company. It should consist of quotes from the company literature, or their website, information gleaned from the web or print material about the market place, past, present and the promise of the future, and the prospective employer’s position visa vie the competition in that specific market. It allows the CISA & PMSP© candidate to present and demonstrate their intimate knowledge of the employer’s industry. The IS, like all the other Tri-Folds from the PMSP© also incorporates their personal contact information and “special quote” written for the prospective HA.

This IS has a three-fold impact. First, as with the others, it is a marketing vehicle about you as a candidate, with all of the “selling” and contact information that the other brochures have. Second, it is a convenient demonstration tool that can and will illustrate your predilection to study, research and positioning that all good candidates must have in their arsenal of proficiencies. Thirdly, it allows the HA to instantly “feel” and embrace your professional ability, creative zeal, determination, diligence and research skills when faced with a possible new opportunity that you must tackle. Your thoroughness, commitment to detail and ability to see the gestalt are immediately apparent. Possibly, this single tool could guarantee at least you would become a finalist.

The IS allows any HA to quickly assess your “fit” for their organization. This brochure will focus on your talents as a complete member of their team, especially your creativity, work ethic and ability to synthesize information before embarking on an assignment. As in all the others, it allows you in one act to PRESENT to the HA, who, what, and how you will attack their job.
