Coach,

I wanted to thank you for your professional help during my job campaign.

I accepted an offer this morning to join …….., Inc. on July 6th as their BDM - Strategic Partners, the Americas.  This is a German based software company and I will work from their nearby MA office.  My initial focus will be on identifying and recruiting OEM partners.

Although I used many of the approaches that I learned from you over the past 15 years or so, it was when I rolled out the more formal campaign (Tri-Fold Brochure) that I was suddenly a finalist in multiple opportunities.  I'll be glad to send samples down to you in the next week or so.  I actually had several hiring managers calling me during the past 45 days or so based on changes that you had coached me on.

Bruce, as for the fact that I am 60, I got over my disgust in people that felt I was too old.  Somewhere along the line I reconciled there was nothing I could do about it, beyond keeping myself fit and sharp.  I just focused on presenting an overwhelmingly positive case for what I could do for them and accepted that there are people on this planet that just won't hire me.  It became a numbers game.  I just needed a few more at bats than when I was 35.  I'm probably much better at being 60 than I was the day my job was eliminated.

As for lesson learned - Next time around I will deploy 100% of your program, aggressively, from day #1 and I will land much faster.

Thank you for your professional help and for being my very good friend!

Sincerely,

Bruce,
Over the past eight months, my search process centered primarily upon networking meetings and "cold-calls" to business organizations. Unfortunately, the only result of my efforts was an increase was my level of frustration!

Finally, I found Bruce. Shortly after beginning your process, I began to notice positive change. I found that I was able to make contact with decision-makers in my target companies. After much research and the preparation of two versions of my tri-fold brochures, I was able to successfully contact and secure interviews; in one case on two separate days, with two different executives within the same organization. During my second interview, one Vice-President, who was on vaction,  asked me "how I was able to reach him without navigation through their human resources department?" He revealed that the brochures were very creative and that my direct and persistent approach was the very reason that he and I were speaking today! In addition, he shared that his counter-part was equally impressed and wanted to help me move through their interview process to the next step!

Bruce, thanks for the tools that allowed me to regain my confidence and, ultimately, my ability to better market myself in what is a highly competitive job market. Anyone asks you for a reference....put me on the top of the list!

Regards,
Richard M

I have known Bruce Dreyfus for over thirty years.  He hired me as a sales representative for a legal publisher to work the state of Indiana.  In last thirty years Bruce has not changed his desire to help people to be successful.

I contacted Bruce in January, 2010 concerning an employment issue.  Now, in a similar manner thirty years earlier Bruce coached me through the rough patch.  He still possesses his desire to help people not only in their careers but personal life as well.

Bruce’s system has transcended the technology already available. With his assistance and input my job search only took eight weeks.  The insight Bruce provided was as helpful in 2010 as it was in 1979.

Bruce,

I first met Bruce Dreyfus thru the Transfiguration Catholic Church Career Ministry in early 2009. I was initially somewhat skeptical of Bruce's unique Tri-Fold approach, when I first started using him as a coach. He was with me every step of the way; from working with me in reviewing my tri folds to making sure I was accountable to implementing the critical elements of his approach to my job search.

He made sure I was well prepared for both my phone and in person interviews and reviewed the critical communications between the prospective employers and me. The debrief sessions that we did after each interview helped me focus on getting better at being interviewed.

The result of Bruce's help is that my first career transition took less than 4 months to find a new position, after I had already spent 6 months trying on my own. During that time; he actually talked me out of accepting two other alleged opportunities before finally joining a large software company. Unfortunately, after only seven months, the company went through an unexpected reorganization and again, I was thrust in to transition.

This time, it only took me two months to find my current position using Bruce's methodology. Bruce is not only my coach but we have grown to be good friends as well.

His approach works and most importantly he has incredible passion in helping you "get that next job!"

Bruce

I wanted to say thanks for the call last weekend and subsequent advice you gave me prior to my interview trip to California. My trip and interview went very well. I’ve attached here my tri-fold that I ended up using for this interview.

I owe a lot to multiple resources during my job search. One that prepared me best, offered me valuable insight and tools to best represent me has been your Get That Next Job program. I also found your supplied personal counseling to be insightful and provided at a level that was far beyond what I believe is the standard for the package that I purchased.

Today, I received a written job offer from my California interview. I will be accepting a Business Development Manager position with .......... Consultants (http://www...........com/ ) covering Georgia and Florida. I am thrilled to return back to work, and knowing now what I do, I wish I had used your program long before I did.

I can’t express my thanks enough, but thank you.

Hey Bruce:

Just wanted to touch base with you and update you.  I was offered a job yesterday with PB Solutions, LLC.
“The CIO was so impressed with me, he lobbied aggressively to get my qualifications, to the COO, then down to PB’s HR director”.  She totally got me and saw immediately many places where I would fit.   I was given three interviews in one day.  I went in at 8:30 am a bit after 5:00 pm I had a job offer. This is extremely unusual, I know.  Your coaching helped give me confidence and helped me to organize my thoughts and presentations.  I had my tri-folds ready (left a business card at the interview) but I honestly did not need them. The Thank You cards are already in the mail to HR Director and to the CIO.  You taught me well!
I'll be working in the accounting department.

Thanks Bruce!

In my opinion, rather than buy another job search technique book, I'd
suggest that reviewing Bruce Dreyfus' Get That Next Job
<http://www.get-that-next-job.com/> (http://www.get-that-next-job.com)
program and information on his website might be a better option.

Bruce is local to us here in the Atlanta area, and he has given his time
and passion to helping many of us. His approach advocates knowing your
strengths, targeting companies of interest and then sending them
materials to get you noticed for an interview. The resume is not your
entry vehicle.

Take a look at the materials. Make sure that you also make time to go
hear Bruce when he is speaking to one of the networking groups around
town.

Hello Bruce,
I wanted to thank you for providing me assistance through The Saint Mark UMC Job Networking Group.   Even though I was only able to make one appearance due to circumstances beyond my control, it was one time that made a difference.  I was able to utilize Dr Bruce Dreyfus's tip about sending your presentation materials to the direct hiring manager to jump start my job search.

I am happy to tell you that I just accepted a position (Payroll Manager)  with Memorial Hospital in Georgia. I had sent my Tri-Fold information to the Hospital HR department and also sent a separate copy to the Director of Finance directly.  While I received an automated reply from the HR department, The Director of Finance told me that he had to personally call me as soon as he saw my material, he was not aware that I had also sent it to their HR Department.

I will provide additional information once I get in there next week with further job vacancies information for any one willing to try their luck over there.

Please help me send my thanks to Dr. Dreyfus for his timely tip.  Without his tips I don't think I would have gotten this job as I would have only sent the resume to HR and probably will still be waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Thanks,

Bruce - I just had to share this small success with someone – and I know you’ll understand.  I have to complement your process.  In my last job, our head of national sales was fond of saying that “good process will often win over mediocre salesmen and strategy.”  If I hadn’t needed to fill out my time sheet and keep track of follow-ups for you (good process), I’m not sure I would have had this result or been as willing to call Rob when I’m ready.  Out of the 9 follow-up emails I sent, I’ve heard back from 7 of them.  Not bad! (Addenda, on Friday it was 8 of 9)

I’m looking forward to talking with you this afternoon.

Re: Testimonial for “Get That Next Job”

I first met Bruce when he gave a presentation detailing the concepts and the process behind “Get That Next Job”. I found myself nodding in agreement to everything he said. Bruce takes all the career advice and research and boils it down to the fundamentals, and have refined things so that, you, the job seeker/career changer, will

Know yourself – With Bruce’s process, you will know yourself, the people who interview you will know you, the people you network with will know you, your friends will know you, strangers will know you, and perhaps most importantly, you will leave a lasting impression; and isn’t that the goal?

Targeted Marketing – The days of applying for everything under the sun is over; You need to be focused, and in some cases, hyper-focused. You need to be interested. And you need to know why you are the best person for this position right now. Get That Next Job will give you that before you even go on an interview, before you speak to a hiring manager.

Build your Network – No matter if you have an extensive vibrant network or it’s deader than weeds sprayed with Roundup; Get That Next Job will help you build and tap your network effectively and efficiently.

Confidence – The job search process is tough and it’s hard to have a lot of confidence because it takes away your control; at the same time, you need to be bright, smiling and confident when you talk with someone. Get That Next Job, because it gives you that control, allows you to decide what happens to you. Not HR, not the Hiring Manager. You do.

For these reasons, amongst others, that I enthusiastically tell anyone considering this program to run, DO NOT WALK, to Bruce and sign up. It is worth it in many ways.

A short example: For an interview, they (the Hiring Authority) let me know it was an Internet posting, and over the course of three months they received close to 1,000 resumes. They then whittled down the list to a manageable 70 resumes, and called people in for interviews. On my Face to Face day, there were perhaps 12 other people interviewing at the same time; I found out later they hired only 2. I was one of the two; You can do the math.

Was I fortunate? Lucky? No. I knew myself, I was confident, I had built my network, and I was able to explain exactly who I am, and how I can help them solve their problems. How? Myself, God, Bruce and Get That Next Job, and Family.

Thank you for your guidance and inspiration in assisting me in my next endeavor. Having a mentor and sergeant Hulka (reference the movie Stripes for you younger candidates) like you motivates and inspires a person to think, plan and execute a short and long term career strategy.

Like most custom software implementations approaching a company, its people and the job can be different. Bruce’s program is designed for individuals with unique talents at varying stages of their career and life. Bruce puts you through this process smoothly but wit
h teeth like no other I have experienced. The books, tapes, research and marketing tasks keep you very focused and engaged. Having a weekly forecast call with him to review accomplishments and your next steps keeps you mentally in line with the goal. This is your business now. Developing your market appeal and attacking opportunity to find your next position is “the business”.

I found this approach very beneficial to the psyche a person  in transition. Transition can be a tough place to be but with Bruce’s business plan approach and his dynamic creativity you will get noticed. It worked for me. I would encourage anyone at any level in business to explore his program and friendship.

Thank you Bruce,

Well Bruce,

I had my first interview in ten years today and luckily it went very well. The reason why it went so well was that I memorized your 9 paradigm questions for the interviewer.  When I asked her what question intrigued her the most.... and without hesitating she flashed a big smile and said all of them.  It seems that hardly anyone asks any of these questions.  What can I say? Good job.

Thanks,

Dear Bruce,

Thank you for investing so much of your time and talent in helping me to refocus my efforts on my business.

In fact, I am astounded by the amount of time you gave to each and every detail of this process.  The initial interview set the tone by establishing the goal of your discovery process: understanding exactly what I want out of life. And, you explained the means by which you would get us to the goal---knowing what makes me tick and what is important / not important to me.

You then executed on your process by requesting not only the CTII, but also my CV, letters to my Dad, Brandon, Leonard and my partner.  I appreciated the fact that you were staying on top of your process to ensure that I'd start getting back into my game (I also despised the fact that I needed the prodding).  That said, I really appreciated the fact that you read and commented on all the letters; and, agreed to look at Angela's 1st Miracle because I thought it might give you more insight.  Then, I was floored by all the effort you put into the CTII process...going so far as asking me to iterate on some of the key questions; and, spending a host of hours summarizing who I was, what I wanted out of life---topping that off by a couple of hours of telephone debrief to make sure I got to the goal.

Then, the final selfless act went beyond putting the icing on the cake...you recommended I engage another coach---a business coach.  Because the best thing I could do is follow my entrepreneurial bent.

Clearly, the focus of all that you do is what is best for your client; without regard to what is best for Bruce.

I am humbled by the quality of your services and your level of client commitment.  And, I am pleased to have made a new friend in the process.

May God continue to pour His Bountiful Blessings on you and your ministry.

Thank you,
Gene

Bruce,

Recently I sent Tri-Fold brochures to two division Presidents at different locations from the same company. I was contacted by a Senior Vice President from that company, in which he was handed a Tri-Fold brochure from one President and another one arrived via FedEx from the other President. The Tri-Fold brochure works to "get noticed." Just notified the interview is to follow.

Yes, the system does work, especially in today's market.

Hi Bruce,

Your tools have helped me tremendously.

I was told by Bill Nashville that I got an A+ on my response to him, your guidance was superb. I was also told you WILL interview with the SVP on the Phone.

I WILL be speaking to Bill on Sunday night at 8:00 PM to prep me for a call with the SVP, Hank Conway on Monday at 9:00 AM. Then, the next step is a trip to AL to meet a few operations folks, then that is it. I’m in……according to Bill.

Salary $120K - $130K plus commissions and $700/M car allowance…….nice package indeed. Director, Business Development – USA is my territory – mentoring other sales folks – team selling – growing the installed base.

I am told I have all the TOOLS in their company portfolio to sell. Bruce, you did it, I am the ROI they need. I will keep you informed.

God Bless You.

Sincerely,

Rick D

Bruce,

After 28 years in business and jobs with multiple employers I thought that I knew how to mount a job search. Boy was I wrong. The search boards and online applications forget about them. Bruce’s PSMP helped me step back and analyze my needs and desires and help me refocus my search. The PSMP helped me get noticed and start conversations with multiple ‘C Level’ executives.  After 4 months and approx 60 CPD's, I am now the Director of Financial systems at my new company.

During my period of transition, Bruce was an inspirational driver. (or a nice pain in the a..) He was available for conversation, guidance and help with the program. The PSMP has taught me how to reevaluate and present myself and skills. Bruce is a remarkable special person that has a program that works. All you need do is open your mind and let the transformation begin.

Subject: Testimonial

When I was introduced to Bruce through a friend, I knew instantly that the Get That Next Job program was far superior to the process the rest of the world was using, and would pay off with a shorter job search and a higher paying position.

The CTII/CISA evaluation and feedback filled me with career confidence and direction/focus. The CPD and 18 day protocol are brilliant methods for self marketing and opening doors to the hidden job market. However, I firmly believe the one aspect of Bruce’s program that punctuates (or even salvages) an interview is the assumptive new hire 30-60-90 day action plan. Every prospective employer was blown away by this two page document that establishes aggressive personal goals perfectly tailored to the position and the needs of the hiring authority.

Last but not least, Bruce’s continuous spot-on advice and teaching (phone calls, book, CD & website) made me a powerful presenter, pushing me well beyond my initial shyness and meek attitude. I learned how to become tactfully relentless and gain something from every contact. None of this is easy, but it ultimately rewarded me in so many ways, including finding my current dream job.

Good morning:
I just wanted to send you a quick e-mail message to let you know that your presentation to the Kettering Executive Network group on Friday, April 18, 2008 has made a HUGE difference in my six month job search. After listening to your presentation, I was inspired to begin working on my presentation materials Bruce suggested and begin a different approach to my search as a Sales & Marketing Executive in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry. To date the results have been phenomenal!!! After little or no interviews using the traditional cover letter and resume approach, during the past couple of weeks I have had a second interview with Xxxxxx, expecting an offer within the next week and have another interview with Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxx next week....
Thank you for making a difference during my career transition!
Have a great weekend

Bruce Dreyfus and the CISA program will enable you to bring your strengths to your transition. It will position you to drive the process instead of becoming HR road-kill.

A successful sales campaign starts with a clear focused message, an efficient/effective methodology and excellent supporting materials. Then you execute your campaign into your target market with aggressive persistence.

This may be second nature to us as executives and successful business people but somehow it is an entirely different story when the product we are selling is ourselves. Let’s face it, how prepared are you to sell yourself? How prepared are you to position yourself successfully in a competitive market? How do you get the attention of hiring authorities and stand out from the pack? How do you do it without getting stuck in the HR grind? How do you maintain power and create the future you want?

That’s what Bruce’s coaching and methodology will do for you.

I entered transition after helping to found a startup, working through the process and selling it as part of the exit strategy. With Bruce’s help I was able to hone my approach, codify it and in less than three months find another position that I wanted.

Think about it this way. Earlier this week I tried to fix a leak in the bathroom shower. I screwed it up so badly that the plumbers may have to cut a hole in the wall to fix it! Just because we’re smart and competent doesn’t mean we should’t ask for professional, experienced help when we need it. Don’t trust your transition to luck – let Bruce enable you.

Bruce,

After nine years as the volunteer leader for RUMC, a church job networking group; I thought I had heard almost everything I needed to hear to handle a successful job search. After some time with Bruce and reviewing his book I was able to put some of his ideas to work. I got instant results in using his questioning techniques to completely change the atmosphere at the beginning of each interview. I used it five times with two different companies and was thrilled with the way it changed the momentum of the interview before I was asked any questions. By the way, I got an offer from both companies!

Bruce,

As you know, based on your suggestions, I presented my business plan summary to three VP's at Bank of "Openness" on January 19, 2004. Your encouragement and guidance have been greatly appreciated. It will be no surprise to you that I could not be more enthusiastic about the PMSP/CISA system. It gave me direction, when I had none, validation when I felt worthless, and more importantly a fellow traveler as we together figured out what I really wanted to do when I "grew up." This was not the outcome I expected, but this was what I really wanted. Thanks for being persistent enough to force me to see me as a "candidate" and a product and just not me, as a person. This really is a sales situation. This testimonial letter was not easy to write, as I was struck by the personal debt that I owe you. It took much longer than I expected to put words on paper. I so wanted to do a good job of outlining how your methodology/operating procedures "work" but more importantly, how you personally have had such a positive impact on me and subsequently my family during this difficult period. I believe that our relationship will continue and that we will have a lot more fun before we hang up the sales bag.

Best Regards,

LH

Bruce,

"I wanted to let you know how pleased I was with the results of your PMSP workbook. Following the suggestions, processes and mentoring you provided in the book, I HAVE FOUND A NEW JOB, after 8 months of frustration, depression and self doubt about my worth and skills. I start on Monday, July 5, as Executive Vice President of Operations & COO at a major mortgage broker in New England. The targeted step-by-step text was able to put me on a path and mindset that I had never considered. I'm a pretty seasoned professional who thought that I knew my way around, however the insights you provided gave me an entirely different way to help myself. Your book reminded me many times, that age did not matter, especially when you had measurable accomplishments and proven competencies that would predict potentials for a prospective employer. Your text forced me with a great deal of reluctance on my part; to do all of those CIP parts. Now, I know your were right. I can't sing your praises high enough for what you did for me. No doubt in my mind that the PMSP works. Best money I ever invested, yes invested in myself. I'm very excited to provide this endorsement and I would be willing to speak to anyone considering the PMSP. I was not sure you could improve on your website, I was wrong. Your PMSP is a winner. Thanks again, Bruce, I have become a friend for life".
