When to Leave,
When to leave a job!
There really are good reasons to leave a job; even in a bad economy. When conditions, product, market, management, and/or co-workers become intolerable. See the list below: Although not extensive it is reflective of severe problems at work. (For more information and discussion, please see our book.)
1. When the company plays with your compensation or quota program often.
2. When product releases are consistently late.
3. When there is a constant revolving door of personnel, especially at the executive level.
4. When you are embarrassed to take your superiors, subordinates, or co-workers on sales calls with you.
5. When the word "veracity" has been removed from the company's lexicon or dictionary.
If I have enumerated some of the “hot” points for you then you need to make some decisions about your future, but before you do anything, please read "Unhappy" on this website.
Obviously, changing jobs is what Transition Compass' products are designed for, but before you become engaged in that pursuit, please be sure that your motives, goals, and career objectives are realistic, attainable, and in your best interests.
The old days of hitting it rich on “stock,” may be gone.
