The Yarn aspect of the
CIP, Candidate Information Program has become the single most potent tool you can have in your arsenal of marketing products in 2010 and beyond. There are another 10 examples in the PMSP© book .

When preparing this document (CN) please write it in the
third person, not the first. Describe the candidate as if you were a recruiter marketing you. After all you know "you" better than anyone else. Please give yourself a good thought out track to run on when you discuss YOU.

We do understand that this exercise is not easy, but many candidates have said it was very worthwhile, especially in the beginning stages or setting. DCG has used the Narrative, Descriptor, Profile, and the Sales Report as part of CIP for the last five years. Most recently in the WSJ, and the Atlanta Constitution, the narrative has been touted as the tool to use to get a new job. Please mimic what you see in the example below in Word Format.
 
Again, we do understand how difficult this is, it is supposed to be. The more you struggle, the greater the emotional ownership you have the more valuable all of our coaching tools become. There is no shortcut or secret except hard work.

The narrative and the rest of the
CIP can and will break the ice. Show them why you should be there, lessen their risk of hire, get the offer. Feel and be aware of the HA's pain and fear. Let's get started.
