Candidate's Interview Grid

I have discussed this concept often with my candidates, and have been asked to reduce the information to a quick grid, for use after an interview.

Below is an approximation of that discussion that we always have with candidates right after an interview.

It is for informational purposes only.  It is not a guarantee.

Face to Face Interview

The grid below is merely a guide, but it can give you some measure of confidence as to the efficacy of your FTF (face to face) interview.

Be observant! This checklist includes time, tense, and the ending of an interview. I have not included the setting for the interview, the relative importance of the order of the interview or the interview itself, as that is discussed in other parts of this site.

Based on cycle you can pretty much tell what your chances are of securing the opportunity. Where does the interviewer go? That will telegraph your chances. Which cycle does the interviewer get to in your interview? These are the phases for an interviewer.

You have a shot!

Ask for a pen to sign the offer.

This is quick, rudimentary, and very simplistic, but relatively close to the truth.

Hope it helps.
