Career Coaching and Job Search Planning
To have a successful career choice planning program, one must first determine what do you really need to do, write a job description for yourself, create, and develop to establish a comprehensive career enhancement program.
This program’s constructs must be developed regardless of your current employment status. It is actually irrelevant whether you are a candidate who is currently employed, one who is seeking a new career path, job, or promotion or one who is currently in transition (dehired or unemployed) or one who is seeking to re-enter the workforce.
The answer to that question above is quite simple and yet peculiarly, it is the same for all of the variations of the above candidate pool. You must learn techniques, via the web, books or career coaching, that will allow and enable you to analyze, prepare, present, validate and close for that “new opportunity.” This approach or planning program must be positive and constructive based on your accomplishments; anger and negativity have no place in this scenario. The tagline from our book, cd and website best describes what should be the goal of every career planning process that is:
"Tasks are normally dismissed, measurable accomplishments are always recognized!"
Since all hiring is based on a very simple premise, you must be able to demonstrate how you will increase the “reward of hire” and decrease the “risk of hire” for hiring authorities. The extra codicil that often is forgotten is that your career planning program must also be a “reward” for you as well. If that is also part of the plan, then both the potential employer and you may get what you are looking for in your new career pursuits, a significant "reward for hire."
The employment situations above may, indeed, seem very dissimilar, but the outcomes are all the same, to get a new job (responsibility), get more money (benefits), or set out on a different career path entirely after figuring out what you want to be when you “grow up.”
Our Personal Marketing Strategy Program can allow any candidate to accomplish their career goals. The step-by-step, time proven system will allow you to assess who you were, are and who you will become and then allow you the planning tools and options to attack the new job market to “get noticed,” “get interviewed,” or re-interviewed and get that next job!
Careful career planning requires that the candidates spend a great deal of time in introspection before embarking on what they initially think is their primary goal. Our career coaching system can and will enable you to clarify those goals, and establish the procedures necessary to accomplish them.
Career planning coaches often leave out a vital part of the process, by failing to discuss with their candidates provisions for monitoring and tracking their career options, and providing the evaluation mechanisms necessary to make valid decisions about the process and its outcome. Our role as a Career Planning Coach will assist you in putting those procedures, dreams and goals in place. During our coaching process we will inspect your progress and process weekly, we will be very sensitive to your “commitment” to the goal you have delineated and enunciated.
At Transition Compass, we are committed to enabling each career planning coachee to realize their dream for tomorrow; today.
We believe strongly that “Today is your first Tomorrow!”
Our PMSP© System works! Historically, we have had over a 80% placement rate in just 6-12 weeks, regardless how long you may have been searching for a new job in the past. We can help you "get NOTICED," "get INTERVIEWED," and "get THAT NEXT job!"
