Finally, networking matures! This concept may be one of the most important on this site.

All prior attempts until now have been, at best, a poor approximation of the idealized version of what networking should, or even better, could be. Heretofore, we have defined networking as talking to, connecting with or meeting with friends, former colleagues or competitors, relatives or other “dehired” or in transition players. We at gTNj have now taken NETWORKING to the next level and finally brought it into the 21st century.

Just as the “get THAT NEXT job” methodology has replaced the archaic “cover letter, resume and prayer method of job search;” so too, have we replaced the traditional networking method with a more viable, effective and meaningful job networking methodology. Your network will now be a lifelong personal connection with THE decision makers in the industry that you choose to WORK.

No longer, will you ever have to be concerned, about the reputation, ambition or possible competition of a networking contact or source for the job that YOU want. Finally, our new system eliminates or significantly reduces the negative RISK felt by a prospective hiring authority of jealousy, internal competition and or the negative impact of a less than adequately respected internal candidate who has presented your paper. "Trickle up" does not work in science, why should it work in a job search? Under our system, that “scenario of countervailing emotions” will never keep your “paper” from reaching the right individuals at your prospective target companies. The “reputation” of the bearer of your “paper” will never again slant, prejudice, tarnish, or skew your paper negatively. Just as our PMSP system demands that you abandon the traditional "cover letter, resume and prayer method approach "to any job search; so too, will you be choosing a new proven methodology of job networking.

With this new system, candidates now can go directly to the real hiring authorities, circumventing other current or prior employees, prior unselected and “rejected” candidates and most importantly avoiding "at all cost" the real dead ; the Human Resources department. We direct you to address your contact information directly to the real budgetary authority in your target companies. In reality, he/she may be the only officer of the company that knows, understands, and can get access to the “hidden budget.” This contact individual has the ability, power and inclination to create, find, or “by thinking out of the box;” imagine a position for you when evaluating your potential impact with his/her company.

If, indeed, there is no opportunity at this target company; then this process allows you the option of asking this new contact to act as one of your “career advisors.” Once they have agreed to evaluate your marketing information and have begun to make changes or suggestions to your presentation information and message and once they have entered this new advisory role then you have two new opportunities available; one is to ask them to reconsider you for a newly created position with their company based on their changes of your “credential presentation,” or at least recommend another contact that you can cultivate in your search process. This system also allows the candidate to make themselves appear to be more valuable by requesting an introduction to their number one competitor.

As we have said in the 18 Day Protocol, our system allows, indeed requires that you contact all your chosen “contacts” 10 to 20 times in an 18 Day period. But the system also requires that you write or email all your new contacts the day you secure a position, then write again a month into the new job, and then again every three months for the first year. This action develops “your own built-in personal job network” should your new opportunity that you have just begun be of a short duration, instead of a long term solution. Once established, the 18 Day Program’s personal network will always serve as your “real job network.”

As we said above, NETWORKING HAS FINALLY COME OF AGE! Since all the members of this “Real Job Network” are in administrative positions or capacities AND in a market niche that that you have chosen in your 18 Day Program, they will become your permanent personal network.
