Why gTNj?

Do you really want a job?

The below was sent to me by a client. Boy does it ring true.

Bruce,

I'd like to add something for thought for your conversation with
job transitioners out there.  David's lack of response to that email
struck a chord with me. David has taken part time jobs as a chef/waiter
for 2 + years now while working for a "real"job.  He contacts me all the
time telling me what a struggle it has been.  I put a solution in front
of him that requires action and work and get no response.

Something I've noticed in other areas as well.

I have a friend who has an amazing nutrition program- the food tastes
amazing and you lose weight- it's all natural no chemicals- BUT here is
the challenge:

Do they want to lose weight?
Yes.

Are they willing to do what it takes?
Not many are.

For your program ask everyone this:

Do you want a job?
Yes.

Are you willing to do the work?
Not many are.

Maybe you could sell or offer some type of accountability program that keeps them on track?  (Editorial Comment: We do offer a free Weekly Excel Tracker to all transitionees, just email us and we will send it to you.)

Have a great week- you are making an awesome impact.

Eric

Thanks Eric, yes we know how hard it is to find a job, but the truth is simple you almost asked the right question.

The real question is: DO YOU REALLY WANT A JOB?
Sometimes transition becomes merely a "gripe session" time. All the inertia has been taken out of the candidates.  There is light at the end of the tunnel and it is not an approaching train.

If you want a job, demonstrate that there still is a "fire in the belly" attitude still left in you.

The real question is would you hire you?

What are the 7 reasons why you would hire you? Can you list those 7 without giving it much thought, if not then write them down now.

Also write down 5 accomplishments and 5 Talking Points about you.

You need to know you have value and how to discover the needs of the you prospective employer.

Our system will get you interviewed then possibly offered a job.

Get Noticed. Our system works, but it hard work, like anything that is worth doing.

The real question if you do not, who will do it for you.

Remember 82% of all jobs are hidden jobs. HR and recruiters do not know about them only the C level people know where thay are.
